It is named after John Steinbeck’s famous novel, The Grapes of Wrath, a story about the dark days of Okie immigrants coming to California during the Great Depression, because these dark roast coffee beans have emerged from great origins.
These beans easily make for our best dark roast coffee, as the dark roast boasts bold flavors of bittersweet cocoa, vanilla and maple and a smooth, clean finish, with none of the bitterness typically associated with a dark roast. It’s definitely not a coffee you are going to want to miss out on.
