Indulge in the exquisite flavors of San Joaquin Coffee Co’s Anaerobic processed coffee from the Northern Province of Zambia. Savor the notes of cherry, cranberry and a hint of citrus in this perfectly crafted coffee. The coffee beans are grown on the award-winning Kateshi Estate; they have frequently won awards in Zambia’s Taste of Harvest competition.
Anaerobic processing is a method that involves fermenting the beans in an oxygen-free environment. During this process, the coffee cherries are sealed in airtight tanks, allowing fermentation to occur in the absence of oxygen. This controlled environment enhances the unique flavors and aromas in the beans. This process is known for producing coffees with distinct and complex flavor profiles, making them highly sought after by coffee enthusiasts.
Please note that Anaerobic coffee typically develops it’s full flavor profile about 21-30 days after roasting.
Tasting Notes – Blueberry, Blackberry, and Milk Chocolate.
Roast level – Medium
